An entry level caregiver assists individuals who cannot fully care for themselves due to age, illness, or disability. Their role is pivotal in ensuring clients live with dignity and independence, whether in private homes, assisted living facilities, or a hospital. 

Core Responsibilities

• Personal Care: Assisting with "Activities of Daily Living" (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
• Medication Management: Providing medication reminders as prescribed by a      managing physician.
• Mobility Assistance: Helping clients move safely, which includes      transferring them between beds and wheelchairs or using mobility aids like walkers.
• Meal Preparation: Planning and preparing nutritious meals that adhere to specific dietary restrictions.
• Household Support: Performing light housekeeping such as laundry, dishwashing, and tidying living spaces to ensure a safe environment.
• Companionship: Engaging in conversation, hobbies, and social activities to reduce isolation and provide emotional support.
• Monitoring & Reporting: Observing changes in a client's physical or mental health and documenting these updates for families or medical professionals. 

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Compassion & Patience: Essential for handling sensitive personal care and potentially challenging behaviors.
• Physical Stamina: The role often requires lifting, repositioning clients, and remaining on your feet for long shifts.
• Communication: Clear verbal and written skills for recording notes and coordinating with other teammates.

Work Environment & Salary

• Settings: Private residences, nursing facilities, and hospice care.
• Hours:  Flexible schedules, including evening, weekend, or overnight      
• Shifts:  up to providing 24-hour care over shifts with a team.
• Pay: All positions are part time, however, some positions may vary up to 40+ hours per week. Hourly wages begin at $16/hr. 

A caregiver with notable experience and proven skills that assists individuals who cannot fully care for themselves due to age, illness, or disability. Their role is pivotal in ensuring clients live with dignity and independence, whether in private homes, assisted living facilities, or hospitals. 

Core Responsibilities

• All of Caregiver 1 responsibilities plus…
  • May serve as Lead Caregiver for the team assistance a specific client.
  • May prep medication dispensing systems for the week.
  • May travel to appointments with clients (as approved by the Manager)
  • May drive clients to appointments in the client’s insured vehicle. Must have a valid driver’s license and prior approval from the Manager.
  • May be responsible for ensuring the team is being proactive in responding the       clients needs and actively communicating to Kathy and specifically in the       log book and medication log.

Work Environment & Salary

• Settings: Private residences, nursing facilities, and hospice care.
• Hours:  Flexible schedules, including evening, weekend, or overnight      
• Shifts:  up to providing 24-hour care over shifts with a team.
